Psychological evaluations take between 2 and 4 hours generally, and are scheduled by appointment only.

Psych evals almost always require PRIOR AUTHORIZATION.

ADD/ADHD evals begin with a 1-hour visit with parent(s), where we gather the information needed to request prior authorization, complete paperwork, find out the presenting problem, and distribute "Teacher Forms" for the child's teachers to complete. Once the authorization comes in, we will schedule the testing, which should last between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the age and abilities of the child.

Once the report is completed we will call the parent(s) to come in to go over the evaluation with the provider, then we can fax the report to the referring pediatrician if necessary.
