Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Some advantages of the IOP versus an in-patient program:
– treatment is available immediately; the participant does not need to wait for an available bed in
a hospital.
– in-patient treatment is very expensive; our program is much more affordable.
– participants can continue with their day jobs rather than jeopardizing employment.
– our IOP is based on the Matrix Model which is the only researched practice model that has
clinical evidence that it is successful.
– for some people and their families, in-patient treatment for substance abuse can be
stigmatizing.
– with our IOP, participants can remain in their own community and have the continued support
and involvement of their family and local 12-Step Programs which can be critical to success.
– the program also offers free After-Care to help prevent relapse.
DURATION:
- sixteen weeks, 3 times per week (5 hours per week)
- classes are Monday evenings, and Tuesday and Wednesday mornings
- night classes may be available, please inquire
- extended if necessary
Payment is expected at the time of services. All insurance is filed for patient reimbursement.
